SwingFit Inc. ("SwingFitAI," "we," "our," or "us") is deeply committed to protecting the privacy of golfers and fitters who use our platform. This Privacy Policy details how your information, specifically biometric and performance data, is collected, stored, and utilized when using our AI Custom Golf Club Fitting platform, Website, and iPad/iOS Video Motion Capture Application.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Identity Data
When you register for a SwingFitAI session or interact with our website, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, and physical characteristics (e.g., height, handedness).
- Account credentials if you are a designated club fitter or facility admin.
B. Biometric & Kinematic Motion Data
Our iOS/iPad Video App collects high-speed video to extract skeletal tracking points (landmarks 1-27) and swing biomechanics. This App clearly declares our camera and kinematic usage per Apple’s 2026 Privacy Guidelines.
2. Transient Video Storage Guarantee
We believe your swing video is your property. Therefore, we strictly enforce a Transient Video Storage Policy:
- All `.mp4` video files recorded during a session are considered transient and exist purely to extract numerical kinematic data.
- Videos are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers once the AI Engine confirms a successful JSON data extraction, or within a maximum of 24 hours (whichever occurs first).
- Our automated server cron jobs actively purge files older than 24 hours to enforce this protocol.
3. Anonymized Research Data
Our core mission is to decouple personal identity from biomechanical data. Once the swing motion values are successfully extracted from your session video:
- Identifying parameters (such as `UserId` and `SessionId`) are immediately stripped from the kinematic coordinates.
- To prevent mathematical re-identification, a ±0.001 positional noise offset ("Privacy Jitter") is applied to the raw motion signatures.
- This permanent, fully anonymized biomechanical data is retained strictly to improve our AI predictive algorithms and matching physics engines.
4. How We Use and Share Information
We use your Personal Identity Data strictly to orchestrate your fitting session securely. We do not sell your personal data to traditional third-party advertisers.
We may share data with cloud infrastructure partners (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, Resend) solely to provide hosting, database, and email delivery services. All data transmitted to these services utilizes industry-standard TLS 1.2+ encryption.
5. Data Deletion and App Store Compliance (Guideline 5.1.1)
You maintain full control over your Personal Identity Data. To comply with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1, you can request an absolute end-to-end "Delete Account & Data" action by navigating to your account settings or emailing us directly. This action permanently destroys your active profile from our primary databases.
6. Children's Privacy
The SwingFitAI platform is not intended for unsupervised use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent.
